Four Seasons Resort Orlando Just Sold for Some MAJOR Cash 🤯

Disney World has a lot of iconic hotels.

But there are some great options that aren’t owned by Disney! One of those is the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, situated just minutes away from the parks. And believe it or not, it just sold for some MAJOR cash.

According to the Orlando Business Journal, Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. bought the Four Seasons for $610 million in cash from Four Seasons Hotels & Resort, Dune Real Estate Partners, and Silverstein Properties Inc. That’s a cost of $1.4 million per room!

Typically, the average cost per room for luxury hotels is just $675,000 — and that includes land, build-out, fees, and more. So this $1.4 million price tag per room is HUGE!

James F. Risoleo, president and CEO of Host Hotels & Resorts Inc., explained that ““Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is a truly iconic and irreplaceable property that is well-positioned to benefit from significant demand as the pandemic subsides and the 18-month celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary begins in October.” Luxury hotels are expected to be the first to bounce back from the pandemic, and experts predict Orlando sites in particular will be in high demand.

Hotel stats in the Orlando area are already improving. The average hotel occupancy rate in March 2021 was 57.8%, which is a 40% increase from March 2020. Those numbers are only expected to increase further.
