We got a TON of new information about Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure today — including an opening date!

While we are excited for all that Avengers Campus has to offer, it seems that a character is getting a new look. Iron Man will have a BRAND NEW costume!
During a 5-year anniversary fan event at Shanghai Disney Resort, guests were taken on a behind-the-scenes video tour of the making of “Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration” with a surprise appearance from some of the Avengers on stage — and Iron Man was looking a little different! He was seen spotting a NEW suit!

The suit, seen above, is crimson red with silver and gold accents. It features a hard chest, face and leg covering with a softer appearing torso and neck, making movement seemingly easier. It’s unclear if this is the suit that will appear at Disneyland’s Avengers Campus, but according to ComicBook.com, Tony Stark will look different. We also know that Avengers like Captain Marvel, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, and of course, Iron Man will be available for “encounters” with guests at Disney California Adventure!

There’s still SO much to learn about Avengers Campus, though we DO know that WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, Pym Test Kitchen, and stores like WEB Suppliers and the Campus Supply Pod will open with the land!
