When it comes to souvenirs from Disney World, there are so many different choices.

From ears, to mugs, to plushes, and so much more — there are lots of options to remind you of your Disney World trip even after you’ve returned home. And to make those memories even more personal, you can have certain souvenirs personalized. Some of these options include Christmas ornaments and mugs, but there’s another unique souvenir that you can customize!

You can find some of the most unique souvenirs in World Showcase at EPCOT. Each pavilion has specialty merchandise themed to its specific country, and you won’t be able to find most of it throughout the rest of Disney World. Hidden in the Italy Pavilion are some souviners that are one-of-a-kind!

Inside La Gemma Elegante, you’ll find a huge selection of hand-painted and ornately decorated Venetian Carnival Masks.

These are created by Balocoloc Venetian Masks, a group of Italian Master Artisans that specialize in designing these traditional masks.

Traditionally, these masks are worn during Carnival which is celebrated in Venice during February or early March. As part of the celebration, the streets are filled with people wearing specially decorated masks. It’s one of the oldest festivals celebrated in Italy and is still celebrated to this day. It includes lots of festivities and entertainment, so these masks are just one of the ways to commemorate the holiday.

All the masks you’ll find in the shop are super impressive, but if you’re looking for something a little more personalized, you can even design your own mask. There are different mask styles to let your creativity shine!

Plus, some new kits are coming soon. These kits are expected to include a mask, an apron for kiddos, a paintbrush, different paints, a stick to attach to the mask, and more decorations! If someone in your family is especially creative, this could be a really fun activity to try.

It’s expected that a small area inside the store will be designated for the activity. There, you can customize a mask to your own liking! That’s way more unique than having your name embroidered on a Mickey hat, if you ask us.

Just in case you’re not visiting Disney World any time soon, you can also find them on the Balocoloc website! There’s a whole selection of masks, hats, jewelry, and more. You can also grab a blank mask to paint at home!
