The current global health crisis has resulted in a lot of changes in the way Disney parks operate around the world.
Recently, Disneyland Paris extended its closure, and now France is going into its third lockdown of the pandemic. As the park is becoming a vaccination site in the country, Disneyland Paris is also celebrating its 29th anniversary soon!
Today, dlpambassador announced on Instagram that while Disneyland Paris remains closed, there will still be a celebration for the 29th anniversary — it just won’t be in person.
According to the post, there will be an online event on April 12th to celebrate “29 years of dreams” and, honestly, it sounds pretty exciting! Not only will we get to explore the park, but we’ll also get to learn more about the history of Disneyland Paris with hosts like Imagineer Yves Benyeta and Manager of Consumer Insight, Catherine Chevreux.
We’ll also get a glimpse at future plans for Disneyland Paris and hear from Imagineer Beth Clapperton and Vice President of Entertainment David Duffy. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear about all the new developments Disneyland Paris has been working on — maybe something about Avengers Campus??
We’ll also get to hear from previous Disneyland Paris President Philippe Bourguignon. And did we mention we’re going to get a sneak peek at some new merchandise? PLEASE let there be a new pair of ears!
