Is Breakfast Food Really the BEST Thing in EPCOT Right Now?

The Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is officially underway in Disney World. And while there’s great merchandise, amazing topiaries, and fun entertainment, there’s also…INCREDIBLE FOOD!

We’ve shared tons of reviews of the food being offered at the festival booths, and we’ve even brought you our list of the BEST of the Fest. But, we were still left wondering, what food or drink is your FAVORITE from this year’s Festival? We’re talking that #1 spot, absolutely must-get drink or food. So, we asked you on Instagram and now we have an answer!!

Our DFB EPCOT Flower& Garden Festival Bracket has officially come to an end! We went through several intense rounds which involved some of the festival’s most delicious and most popular items. After a few rounds of voting, our trusty DFB readers narrowed down the pool of 24 drinks and treats down to the final 2. And finally a winner has emerged!

Alright, are you ready to meet the final contestants?! In the final round of our DFB bracket, one of the contestants up for your votes was…the NEW Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon from the Sunshine Griddle booth. Yes, you read that correctly — Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites. Cream Cheese Frosting. CANDIED BACON!!

These beauties were a HUGE hit with us at the festival. With a soft, gooey, delicious cinnamon center that was super sweet, we can see why these treats made it to the finals.

Up against the Cinnamon Roll Bites in the final round was… the Burnt Ends and Pork Belly Slider with Garlic Sausage, Chorizo, Cheddar Fondue, and a House-made Pickle from the Festival Favorites booth in World Showplace. This dish is actually a new take on the tasty Beef Brisket Burnt Ends we tried a few years ago and it was SUPERB!

With a fantastic crunch from the pickle and LOTS of cheese, we really enjoyed this dish.

Basically, we’ve got a total newbie up against a new take on an older classic. So, who has emerged victorious? What is your FAVORITE item at the Flower and Garden Festival? The winner here is…the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites!! The cinnamon roll bites won by a BIG margin, getting 70% of the votes, while the slider only got 30%!

THE CINNAMON ROLL BITES ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

So, the best item at the Flower & Garden Festival is…breakfast food?! We get it though because these are a sweet treat that could make a perfect snack any time of the day. Just be sure you like cinnamon before you order them.
