Dear Disney, Please Bring Your New Event to Florida

Spring is coming and the Disney parks sure know how to celebrate!

Disney is launching a new event to bring in the season and we have to say, we’re pretty jealous. Dear Disney, what do we have to do to get you to bring your new springtime event to Florida?!

Hong Kong Disneyland has announced several all-new offerings for guests this springtime. And yes, they do involve Duffy the Disney Bear and friends, AND some iconic Disney rabbits.

Now through April 29th, Hong Kong Disneyland guests can enjoy a variety of special experiences. For one, Duffy and his friends (ShellieMay, Gelatoni, StellaLou, CookieAnn, and ‘Olu Mel) will all appear on Main Street, U.S.A. with cute Easter props for photos!

Plus, you can learn to draw some of your favorite pals at Animation Academy! AND, Easter wouldn’t be complete without appearances from some iconic Disney rabbits, so get ready to say hi to Zootopia‘s Judy Hopps and Alice in Wonderland‘s White Rabbit.

On top of that, there are yummy eats and treats for the event including the Xiao Long Bao Style Dessert Set with Flower Tea and Duffy and Friends All Day Breakfast Style Dessert with ‘Olu Mel the Musician at Corner Cafe Hosted by Coca-Cola, Duffy and ShellieMay Character Lollipop Cookies, Crispy Cream Caramel with Vanilla Cake, and Meringue Lemon Cake.

The fun continues over at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotels. Walt’s Dessert Station will offer Duffy and Friends desserts and the Colorful Tea Zone – Duffy and Friends afternoon tea, and Dragon Wind or World of Color Restaurant will offer an Easter Egg Chocolate-making session.

Of course, no Disney parks event is complete without merchandise. So, there are over 30 NEW MERCH ITEMS featuring Mickey and Friends and Duffy and Friends including bunny ear plush toys, accessories, and more.

April 2nd through 6th, guests can also participate in the traditional Mickey’s Easter Eggventure — an event within the event! Or, take Disney springtime home with Vacuum Gourmet Meals for Home for pick-up or delivery.
