Disneyland Resort Thanks Guests One Year After Closing

It’s been exactly one year since Disneyland Resort closed its doors.

Several other Disney Parks have opened, although Hong Kong Disneyland has closed and reopened again, and Disneyland Paris has closed and has not reopened again. But, has Disneyland remained closed throughout the year due to California’s strict theme park reopening guidelines.

Now, Disneyland has posted a “thank you” message to its guests from the Cast of Disneyland that reads: “For all the memories we share…and those we still have to make…thank you.”

This comes shortly after the state of California has cleared theme parks to reopen on April 1st. Disney has stated it hopes to reopen by late April, but in the meantime, guests can still shop and dine at Downtown Disney. The company also has a ticketed event at Disney California Adventure beginning on March 18th that will open most of the park to guests (except for the rides).
