Hey, DFB Friends! In case you missed the big news, Disney World’s Blizzard Beach reopened today after about a year of being closed!

We were there LIVE, checking out some of the fun water slides, relaxing on a tube while floating down a lazy river, checking out the refillable beverage situation (it’s different here than we’ve seen in the parks), and munching on some water park food!

So today, we headed over to Avalunch (because we LOVE to eat) to check out the Bacon Macaroni & Cheese 1/4 lb All-Beef Hot Dog. Y’all — this sounds dangerous. But we like to live on the edge, so we went for it. And if you think it looks super rich and over the top, you’d be right!

True confession time — our reporter isn’t a big hot dog fan, so this thing already has that going against it. We are BIG mac and cheese fans, though, but this mac and cheese was bland. The bacon helped a little with flavor, though. We could also tell this was a beef hot dog.

Most people would probably like this more than the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich because the hot dog was executed better and was a bigger portion.

This cost $11.49 and came with chips.

If you are a fan of hot dogs and bacon mac & cheese, you’ll probably enjoy this snack. For us, though? We’ll just stick to our favorite mac and cheese-filled foods elsewhere for now! We’re still trying more snacks at Blizzard Beach, so stay tuned for more reviews!
