We’re happy to see some booths and favorite dishes return to the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

But, there is also something incredibly exciting about trying NEW items from a totally NEW booth! And that’s exactly what we’ve got over at Sunshine Griddle — a brand new booth for this year’s Festival. Could this booth or any of its items become a new Festival favorite? We did some sampling to see!

Menu

Sunshine Griddle has 4 food items available ranging from savory to sweet. One of these is a returning item from another booth, while the other 3 are brand new.

Food

First up, there’s the Avocado Toast with Marinated Toybox Tomatoes and Fresh Goat Cheese on Toasted Ciabatta. This is one of the new items and it is priced at $5.75.

We’ve had some other avocado toast creations in Disney World and were curious to see how this one compared. This one isn’t our favorite — we found the center to be a little soggy — but the goat cheese was great. And at least the bread was crispy on the outside!

Next, there’s the one returning item on this menu — the Shrimp and Grits. This dish is made of Blackened Shrimp and Cheddar Cheese Grits with Brown Gravy and Sweet Corn Salsa. Last year, it was served over at the Florida Fresh booth, but it’s now at the Sunshine Griddle.

These shrimp are typically a BIG hit, and they didn’t disappoint! The grits were super buttery, while the corn salsa was sweet with a perfect kick! We loved how all the ingredients blended together. You can try this for $7.25.

If you’re looking for something new to taste, you can pick up the Corned Beef Brisket Hash at this spot. This dish is served with House-made Potato Barrels, Onions, Peppers, Cheese Curds, and a Soft-poached Egg with Tabasco Hollandaise.

This is a VERY heavy dish. The potato barrels are dense and filling! One of our favorite elements was that Tabasco Hollandaise — it had great spice. Scoop everything into one bite because the flavor combo is awesome! You can grab this dish for $6.25.

And finally, in terms of the food category, we’ve got one dish we KNEW we had to try the second we heard about it — the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon!! We’ll say it one more time slowly. Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites. Cream Cheese Frosting. CANDIED BACON!!

OOO BOY! We’re not going to lie — we had some pretty high hopes for this dish because it sounds incredible. And it was AMAZING. There was a soft, gooey, delicious cinnamon center that was super sweet.

Just make sure you love cinnamon before you buy this one! You can get the fried cinnamon roll bites for $4.25.

Drinks

In terms of beverages, this booth continues to serve up unique items with 2 NEW drinks. First, we’ve got the Froot Loops Shake, which is non-alcoholic. It looks SO colorful — talk about a photogenic sip!

We’ve had cereal milk at lots of places (including Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew). Would this be similar? Turns out we loved it! It tasted JUST like Froot Loops, so it felt like a major throwback. Seriously — it tasted like sitting on our couch watching cartoons! You can sip on this cereal milk for $4.50.

And finally, the last item at this booth is the NEW Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew Cocktail with Milk, Kahlúa Rum and Coffee Liqueur, and Vanilla Vodka. Well, that’s a mouthful.

We really enjoyed this drink, too! The Kahlua Rum was strong, and we’d definitely buy it again. Want to try this new cold brew cocktail? You can get it for $9.50.

Overall

Overall, we were fans of this brand-new booth. The Froot Loops Shake and Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites were BIG hits — we’ll definitely be back to try them again!
