Hi, friends! We’re coming at you once again from Disney’s beautiful Animal Kingdom!

So, let’s get trekkin’! After all, there’s a lot to LOVE about Disney’s Animal Kingdom! And guess what? Animal Kingdom LOVES YOU right back… at least, if the snacks we spotted during our latest trip to see what’s new are any indication!

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Dino-Bite Snacks

That’s right! It’s still a Valentine’s celebration of LOVE throughout the park even though February 14th has come and gone!

And you can still feel the love starting at Dino-Bite Snacks in DinoLand, U.S.A. where the Valentine Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich remains up for grabs!

Here, strawberry ice cream is sandwiched between two chocolate cookies and rolled in heart-shaped sprinkles.

And this is just a friendly reminder that you can enjoy it for the rest of the month, and through March 1st!

Flame Tree Barbecue and Restaurantosaurus

The same holds true of the Valentine’s Cupcake themed to Simba and Nala from The Lion King.

It’s a chocolate cupcake with milk chocolate, soft ganache filling, vanilla buttercream, and a cute-as-can-be Simba and Nala white chocolate coin.

Basically, it’s kind of like this, but on a cupcake!

I mean, we’re not the ONLY ones needing something to snack on in the park!

(It was a good day for animal-spotting, by the way!)

Anyhoo, where were we? Oh yeah! This Valentine’s Cupcake is also available at Flame Tree Barbecue and Restaurantosaurus through March 1st!

Buuuuut… Is that good news or “meh” news?

Creature Comforts

While we weren’t wowed by the previously mentioned cupcake, the Valentine’s Cupcake at Creature Comforts is a classic chocolate and cherry confection!

And, yep! This heart-topped (and heart-covered) cupcake remains up for grabs at Creature Comforts, as well, for the rest of the month!

Ditto goes for the Valentine’s Brownie with a Mousse Dome, also here at the park’s Starbucks stop.

Strawberry mousse sits atop a chocolate brownie, and it’s topped with pink, red, and white heart sprinkles.

Nomad Lounge

Now there is something we want to note about the Valentine’s version of the Dessert Trio at Nomad Lounge.

While it is — as of right now — still available, the cast member we spoke with wasn’t sure how long this would be the case, so get this pretty plate of chocolate, hazelnut, and strawberry treats while you can!

That said, the Dessert Trio changes with the seasons around here, so you can check out a previous version here to get an idea of what might be available on your visit!
