See How Moana Is ALREADY Taking Over Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

We love looking at all the unique costumes and outfits that Cast Members wear at Disney World!

Disney puts a lot of thought into what Cast Members wear, and sometimes, the company even decides to give Cast Members an outfit upgrade!

We stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Resort today, and when we popped into Capt. Cook’s and Pineapple Lanai, we noticed something new — the Cast Members there were sporting entirely new looks! They’re now wearing vibrant green shirts, with beautiful orange aprons with Polynesian patterns on them! And it’s all paired with burgundy pants and a straw hat with red ribbon.

Do these patterns remind YOU of anything? Because we are totally getting Moana vibes, which makes sense because the Polynesian is currently under an extensive refurbishment that will eventually feature Moana-inspired rooms!

These new outfits have us even more ready to see what the new theming at the Polynesian will look like! We are LOVING the bright colors — they really pop!
