Valentine’s Day is almost here, and you know what that means — we’re trying ALL the special treats we can find at Disney World!

And you shouldn’t be surprised that we’re trying a LOT of cupcakes, because Disney’s been churning out Valentine’s Day cupcakes this season. So far, we’ve tried one with a zebra-striped heart AND another one with Simba and Nala on it.
And now, we’re trying yet ANOTHER Valentine’s Day cupcake! This time, we’re checking out the Valentine’s Red Velvet Cupcake at Sprinkles in Disney Springs. This is a classic red velvet cupcake with southern-style light chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and “Lucky in Love” sprinkles by Fancy Sprinkles, the shop’s partner.

There is a ton of bling in the form of pearls, sprinkles, and hearts on this baby! And those sprinkles add an unexpected crunch to each bite of the cupcake itself! A crunchy cupcake is pretty different than what we’re used to eating.
So. much. BLING!
The cupcake itself is Sprinkles’ regular red velvet cupcake. The cake is moist, and the cream cheese frosting adds the right amount of sweetness. So, if you like sweets that aren’t too sweet, this might be a great option for ya!

This is a good snack for those who enjoy a fun Valentine’s Day treat (and want to share it on social media — the blinged-out sprinkles will definitely catch someone’s eye). And, we think kids would also really go for it! You can get one of your own now through February 14th for $5.75. And we’ll keep trying more Valentine’s Day treats at Disney World to let you know what we think!
