You might’ve heard but the Walt Disney Company is putting a BIG focus on streaming in the coming years.

At Disney’s 2020 Investor Day, we learned a lot about what to expect from Disney’s various streaming services — including the upcoming international offering Star. Now, we know more about which titles are coming to the Star service in the U.K. Take a look!
Star is set to launch as a part of Disney Plus in Europe on February 23rd. The offering will also be coming to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore; plus as a standalone option to Latin America. The content on Star will be more adult than offerings on Disney+ and you’ll probably recognize several of the announced titles!

Star U.K. will introduce two Star Originals with Big Sky, a drama from David E. Kelley, and Love, Victor, set in the same world as 2018’s film Love, Simon. Other titles coming to the service include 24, Lost, Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break, The X-Files, Atlanta, Black-ish, and some of the Die Hard movies.

This announced lineup is U.K.-specific and may vary from country to country during the release. Regardless, Star is expected to double the amount of content available to watch on Disney+. Pricing will see an increase in most markets where Star is launched. In the U.K., the price of Disney+ will increase to £7.99/month or £79.90/annual.
