Disneyland Paris may be closed now through the holiday season due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the work continues on the resort’s MANY construction projects.
We already have seen updates about the new Cars Route 66 Road Trip attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park and a bit from their Avengers Campus, and now there are two NEW refurb updates from France!
Walt Disney Studios park will continue its transformation in the new year with the launch of a new family-friendly show, Disney Junior Dream Factory!
The show itself takes its inspiration from the music of Disney Junior’s various franchises. Mickey and Minnie arrive in the show, only to discover there is an audience member who isn’t dreaming QUITE enough, and only Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, and Timon from The Lion Guard can help.
The show will take place on a colorful set with hues of purple, green, and blue, complete with slides and TONS of Mickey Mouse outlines. Indeed, it’s a factory of gears, dream orbs, and more! You can watch a full preview of this new show, coming to Walt Disney Studios Park in the new year, below!
Meanwhile, over at Disneyland Paris, we got an update on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, their version of Magic Kingdom’s Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin or Disneyland Park’s Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
The ride, which is expected to reopen in February 2021, has gotten its interior and exterior decor “freshened up,” with special attention going to special effects and lighting! The colors in the refurbished attration do, indeed look SUPER bright. Check out all the details of the yearlong refurb in the video below.
Due to the global health crisis, Disneyland Paris will remain closed until February 12th, 2021. And it seems as though there’s tons to look forward to there! When Disneyland Paris does get an OFFICIAL reopening date, we’ll be sure to let you know! So stay tuned to DFB!
