Just a few days ago, we discussed a change to the rider loading procedure for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Toy Story Land
We noticed that guests were being loaded on every row of the Coaster’s signature super stretch limo ride vehicles, in a change from prior loading procedures that have been in place since the reopening of the park. Well, today we’re back at the same park and noticed a similar happening at another headliner attraction in Toy Story Land.
We’re talking about Slinky Dog Dash.

Of course, where Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster takes guests on an indoor ride in the dark, Slinky Dog Dash is out in the open, so you can see all of the twists and turns and ups and downs. And that’s also how you can see that riders for this attraction are likewise being seated in every row.

(While we do not know how many of the riders were in the same party, we waited for several Slinky Dogs to pass and noticed that ride vehicles were full for each.)
As was the case with Rock ‘n’ Roller, guests were previously seated with space between rows to maintain physical distancing, but it now appears that procedures have changed.

Other recent attraction changes specific to Disney’s Hollywood Studios include plexiglass installations on the ride vehicles for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. We’ll continue to keep you posted on additional changes for park attractions as we find them.
