Disney has made some AMAZING things out of gingerbread over the years!

Even though there won’t be any massive gingerbread displays in the resorts this year, we have seen some very intricate, smaller creations, like a gingerbread/chocolate sculpture at Disney’s Grand Floridian and a gingerbread model of the Contemporary Resort. We’ll also be on the lookout for a gingerbread display to appear at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays! If all this talk of gingerbread is making you want to build a creation of your own, then we’ve got good news for you — shopDisney is holding a gingerbread contest this year!

The contest is called the “Magical Gingerbread Contest” and it’s run via the shopDisney Instagram and Twitter accounts. All you need to do if you’d like to enter is share a photo of your “gingerbread creation” on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #shopDisneyContest and #shopDisneyGingerbread, and you will get the chance to win a shopDisney gift basket!
