Contruction Photo! Shanghai Disneyland’s “Zootopia” Expansion Update!

Last year, Disney announced a Zootopia-themed expansion for Shanghai Disneyland.

The expansion will be the first land themed after the Oscar-winning Zootopia. Today we got a construction update complete with photo! Progress is moving along nicely at Shanghai Disneyland! Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, shared at the IAAPA virtual expo a photo that shows an aerial view of construction on the land, which includes a massive show building.

The Zootopia expansion will include a major attraction featuring state-of-the-art technology and Disney storytelling that will bring the movie’s characters and plot to life! This will be the eighth themed land at Shanghai Disneyland.
