We’ve been doing a bit of a construction round-up as we’ve looked at EPCOT’s Harmonious, the possible “La Gelateria” in the Italy Pavilion, and the expansion of the France Pavilion.
Buuut, we’re hopping over to a galaxy far, far away to take a look at everything happening over at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser near Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
The upcoming Star Wars Resort (which will give more of a cruise-like experience) has been a priority in Disney World on top of the massive amount of projects in the works right now. When it’s completed, the hotel will lead directly to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as guests journey into their own Star Wars story during their two night stay.

We’ve started to see the cabins and transport area take shape as the hotel pushes forward with its construction. Since guests staying at the resort will be able to experience “windows” that peer out into space, @bioreconstruct has given us an aerial view of where some of these windows may be.

Concept art shows that guest rooms will have window views out into space. Trees will hide views of the show buildings. pic.twitter.com/I9n6ERWEnB

There hasn’t been too much news on when the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be opening since the construction schedule shifted with the park closures earlier this year. However, we will keep checking back for more progress updates and any additional details on the Star Wars hotel’s grand opening!
