Review! We Found a Two-For-One Holiday Dessert in Disney Springs!

We love a good red velvet cake all year-round, but that love is amplified around the holidays.

It’s not that red velvet has a particularly Christmas-y flavor, it’s the rich red color that gives us all the yuletide feels! Just think about the Holiday Whoopie Pie in Hollywood Studios! We’re trying another pretty red velvet dessert RIGHT NOW!

We’ve been snacking our way through a bunch of holiday treats at Amorette’s Patisserie today and now we’re on to the Red Velvet Yule Log. The yule log itself is a yummy combo of red velvet chiffon cake wrapped around a spiced cheesecake filling and dark chocolate crisp pearls.

But that’s not all! The Yule Log is garnished with fondant, powdered sugar ‘snow’, and icing flower. It also comes with a gold-dusted reindeer on the side! Three cheers for a BONUS reindeer cookie! Granted, the cookie is a little small compared to the Yule Log, but it’s not everyday you come across any kind of two-for-one special in Disney World!

Overall, all of those ingredients add up to one pretty sweet dessert dish! Luckily it’s the perfect size that you could totally share it with a friend. Otherwise, you may have some explaining to do next time you see your dentist!
