Nighttime entertainment has been pretty much nonexistent in a reopened Disney World.

With the suspension of fireworks and limited park hours, we’ve been wondering when we’ll see any kind of nighttime show in the parks again. Of course, projections ARE confirmed for the 2020 Christmas season and it seems like Disney World is getting ready!

According to our friends over at AllEars.Net, a Disney guest recently spotted projection testing on the castle! AND, they got a video!! Could this be in preparation for the holidays? Probably!!

Wow! The video shows a view from what looks like the roof terrace at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and you can see Cinderella Castle flashing with different colors and patterns. We wonder what they could be!

Disney has said that projections will bring a particularly festive look this winter. They have mentioned a rotating series of designs;” for instance, a “whimsical” Christmas sweater and an overlay of red, green, and gold ornamentation.We can’t wait to see up close!

We’ll be waiting to hear more from Disney about any potential castle projections and we’ll keep an eye out for more testing. As always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates!
