The travel industry has had to deal with months of cancellations and shifts due to the global health crisis.
We’ve been keeping up with all of the trip suspensions and updates to policies over at Adventures by Disney. Now, those changes are extending all the way into 2021 and, in some cases, 2022.
In a new statement on their website, Adventures by Disney announced that all departures will be suspended through January 31st, 2021. Those impacted will be contacted by either Adventures by Disney or their Travel Agents.
On top of this round of cancellations, there has also been a MAJOR extension to the cancellation policy. Previously, the policy was being extended on a month-by-month basis, but now it reaches all the way to 2022.
New bookings made through March 31st, 2021 for travel through March 31st, 2022 are eligible for fully refundable deposits up until the final payment date, which is now 90 days prior to departure.
Trips canceled within 90 days are subject to a cancellation fee. As a note, Disneyland Resort and Southern California Escape departures for March 2022 are excluded from the modified cancellation policy.
For any specific questions, guests can reach out to their Travel Agents or call the Adventures by Disney Contact Center at (855) 223-0025 or (407) 566-8345. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates!
