Disneyland has remained closed since March and after significant back and forth between Disney, other local theme parks, and the California Government, California Governor Newsom’s office has released theme park reopening guidelines.
Most notably, the guidelines restrict large theme parks like Disneyland from reopening until Orange County reaches Tier 4, which could take months. Now, the Anaheim Mayor (who has spoken out before) has responded to the guidelines.
In response to the guidelines, the Anaheim Mayor’s office tweeted out the following statement from Mayor Harry Sidhu noting that “These guidelines fail working families and small businesses.”
There is a lot to take in and unfold when it comes to the new guidelines. We will be breaking things down for you clearly over the coming days, so if you have any specific questions, please let us know.
