For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

For what genuinely feels like the first time in FOREVER, A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration has REOPENED in the Echo Lake area of Hollywood Studios!

The show kicked off again on October 5th, and we know what you’re asking: What’s different?! The biggest thing is that the theater is only operating at 35% capacity, and there are rows and seats marked as unavailable.

Guests are also asked to keep their face masks on and stay seated for the duration of the show.

Frozen ShowThere are a few new topical jokes about face masks and social distancing, but the best part — the SNOW! — is still there!

And, of course, all our favorite songs from Frozen and our favs Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff are still there too!

The Disney Society Orchestra and Friends

The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra, a.k.a. The Disney Society Orchestra and Friends announced they would play their FINAL shows at Walt Disney World at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on October 3rd. And of course, we checked out one of this group’s last performances after 32 years on that day.

That show has now OFFICIALLY ENDED, and the showtimes for it over at the Theater of the Stars have been removed.

It’s not clear what will replace The Disney Society Orchestra, but Theatre of the Stars is typically the home of Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage.

Keystone Clothiers

The Frozen Sing-Along isn’t the only newly reopened spot at Hollywood Studios…Keystone Clothiers, a gift shop located on Hollywood Boulevard is also OPEN once more!

What will you find here? We spotted a TON of Star Wars merch and Marvel merch perfect for ALL heroes (and fans of heroes).

Of course, there are social distancing markers in place, too!

It’s nice to see more and more things reopening over a DHS!

Oh, look, we spotted something NEW at Keystone Clothiers: a new Black Panther T-shirt!

This soft gray tee features a stylized comic book drawing of the Avengers hero alongside a speech bubble saying, “The king and protector of Wakanda.” With the recent passing of “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman, this is a sweet (and stylish!) way to honor the icon and one of his signature roles!

Legends of Hollywood

If you want to rep another big cat, we also spotted some animal print Mickey Dooney and Bourke bags!

We spy some leopard print, tiger print, giraffe print, and zebra print. Even though we found this at Hollywood Studios, this would be the PERFECT bag for a day over at Animal Kingdom, don’t ya think? We first spotted this at Animal Kingdom actually, but this collection is available over at Legends of Hollywood too!
