We’ve Got to Taco ‘Bout This SECRET Menu Item at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Lately, we have discovered some secret menu items ALL over Disney World.

From the Jack Skellington Frappuccino at Starbucks to the Guacamole To-Go from La Cava del Tequila, we are ALWAYS on the hunt for those items not listed on the menu. Today, we visited the Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom where we found a BRAND NEW secret item!

What is the secret you ask? Fish Tacos! These super-secret tacos were a delight! The tacos were noted to be served with crispy sustainable fish, topped with pico de gallo, pickled jalepeño, and radish. And boy, were they tasty!

Although the fish was not as crispy as you would expect from the description (if you look REALLY closely you can see they’re fried), the fish tasted very fresh! For those of you who do not like super fishy tastes or smells, you would definitely enjoy these. If you are not a fan of spicy, we recommend taking off the jalepeño because that gave these tacos some KICK! The toppings really added to the freshness of the whole dish. We were impressed!

This secret item was found on small placards on each table at the lounge. The tacos are NOT shown anywhere on the online menu or QR code menu for the lounge. If a placard is missing from your table, ask your server about these to see if they are still serving them!

You can currently enjoy these super-secret tacos for $15. Overall, we thought these were super flavorful and most importantly, FRESH! For 15 bucks, it would have been nice to get a bit of something the side to make it feel more substantial than just the two tacos on a plate, but these were quite tasty. We would totally pick these up again on our next visit to Nomad Lounge.

Secret menu items don’t tend to stay forever so if LOVE tacos, don’t hesitate to visit the Nomad Lounge! As always we will continue to update you on any new secret menu items we find around Disney World!
