Both Disney World and Disneyland offer an internship opportunity called the Disney College Program, in which participants gain experience working in the Disney parks and resorts.
Participants are able to visit the parks while they’re actively in the program, and they also earn a number of complimentary tickets that they can use to provide admission for their friends and family members. However, the Disney College Program was temporarily suspended at Disney World on March 16th and participants received a notice of successful program completion.
So, what happened to the complimentary tickets that the Spring DCP participants earned prior to the suspension of the program? Well, according to an email received by one of our readers, participants in the Disney World Spring program are now receiving information on how they can redeem their tickets.
According to the email, DCP participants can request their tickets online, and they will still need to obtain a Disney Park Pass reservation for theme park entry. The DCP participant will also need to be present with their guests in order for them to enter the park.
The email also contains information about how many tickets are required based on the number of guests. Ticket requests must be made by September 20th, 2021, and all unused tickets expire after September 26th, 2021.
Disney has not released a date for the resumption of the Disney College Program but we’ll continue to keep an eye out for any further information!
Here’s how the Disney College Program participants said goodbye prior to the park closures
