There are so many great characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that it’s almost impossible to have one favorite. But many Marvel fans might put Nick Fury, Marvel’s former director of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., at the top of their lists.

A lot of that might have to do with actor Samuel L. Jackson’s portrayal of the character, who we most recently saw in a post-credits scene in Spider-Man: From Home.
So what’s Fury been up to since then? It seems we might find out in a new series that Disney+ has in development that will bring Jackson back as the character. According to Variety, Jackson will reprise the role for a new series on Disney+. AND WE ARE STOKED!

So far, the plot of this series is being treated more top-secret than S.H.I.E.L.D.’s next mission. Yeesh. Just TELL US ALREADY.

However, fans will get to hear Jackson as Fury when he lends his voice to Marvel’s upcoming animated “What If…?” series that’s set to premiere on Disney+ in 2021. At this point, we’ll take all the Fury we can get!

Meanwhile, Marvel fans are still anxiously awaiting the opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure, which has been delayed due to the global health crisis, as well as Disneyland’s ongoing closure. Considering how cool it’s looked so far, WE ARE READY TO ASSEMBLE!
