We're One Step Closer to Cookie Heaven — There's Something New at Gideon's Bakehouse in Disney Springs!

We’ve been carefully watching the construction progress over at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, eagerly awaiting the day when they’ll finally be open!

Although Gideon’s is already selling its incredibly large cookies to its adoring fans in Orlando, the Disney Springs spot will be their first flagship location. We don’t know exactly when they’ll be opening, but we spotted something new today that shows we’re one step closer to enjoying their delicious treats in Disney!

As we were walking around Disney Springs today we spotted something new on the building that will soon house Gideon’s Bakehouse — a brand new sign!

In terms of cookies — we’re very familiar with the GIANT delicacies Gideon’s carefully crafts. From Peanut Butter Vanilla Crisp to Cookies and Cream, we’ve tried our fair share of these treats, and we can’t wait to sample many more!

When Gideon’s Bakehouse opens in Disney Springs, guests will also be able to munch away on GIANT cake slices and enjoy special coffee drinks in a location that’s got quite the mysterious backstory.

In addition, Gideon’s has noted that we can expect to find some one-of-a-kind, unique items made by local artists — like the handmade mugs they sell in their current shop — in their new location. So there you have it — cookies, cakes, and curiosities!

We shared recently that Gideon’s announced that they were hiring for their Disney Springs location, so it seems as each day passes, we’re just a little bit closer to stepping inside cookie heaven. No official opening date has been set yet, but we’ll keep our eyes open for any updates and let you know what we find.
