We’ve SERIOUSLY missed Casey’s Corner and those delicious corn dog nuggets with plastic cheese!

Right now, Casey’s Corner is still closed, but, when we stopped by Magic Kingdom today, we spotted some changes in the area that could mean this quick service spot is on its way to reopening soon!

You’ll find Casey’s Corner, a quick service restaurant that serves mainly hot dogs, corn dogs, and fries, all the way at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. We truly miss the days when we could grab a speciality hot dog or corn dog nuggets from Casey’s, and just sit in the grass in the Magic Kingdom hub to relax and people-watch.

This restaurant did not reopen with the rest of Magic Kingdom, and we have been eagerly awaiting its return for a while now. Last week, we found some corn dog nuggets being served at another Magic Kingdom spot that were really enjoyable, but still — nothing beats a trip to Casey’s (at least for us).

But, today we spotted something NEW in what used to be the indoor seating area for Casey’s Corner — new social distancing markers on the floor!

For reference, here’s our video from August 31st, just a week ago. At that time, there were a few stools in place, but no social distancing markers.

Now, you can see social distancing numbers have been placed throughout this area. We’ve seen these at other restaurants around Disney World.

We could also see more of these numbers on the floor near the wall that is closer to the actual restaurant.

Could this mean we’ll see the return of Casey’s soon? Will this space now serve as a new waiting area or queue to hold guests as they wait for their food? We’re not sure yet, but our stomachs are grumbling at just the thought of getting some delicious items from Casey’s Corner soon! We’ve seen other spots, like Gaston’s Tavern, open up recently in the parks, so we’ll definitely keep an eye on this space to see if we spot any more signs potentially pointing to a reopening in the near future.
