Could This Mean Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Is One Step Closer to Opening?!

Many Disneyland Resort auditions have been canceled or suspended since the theme park closed in March.

Black Panther Meet and Greet

Walt Disney World reopened last month while Disneyland Resort has seen several delays in reopening. Despite this, Disneyland has continued with construction on the highly-anticipated Avengers Campus. We recently noticed a new audition post that indicates the theme parks could be preparing for some Marvel-themed entertainment!

The first audition is for two stunt performers who will play Marvel’s Black Panther and Captain America. The second audition is for General Okoye from Black Panther. We know the new Avengers Campus will feature tons of meet ‘n’ greets with Marvel characters. Prior to the closures, we saw a few auditions for roles like Black Widow and Spider-Man.

The land was originally set to open in summer 2020 before the park closed. At this time, no reopening date is set for Disneyland or the new Avengers Campus.

The audition notice is simply indicating some exciting things are in the works! Guests will get to meet a ton of Marvel characters, enjoy Marvel-themed dining, and experience what it’s like to join the superhero team on new attractions. Also, did you catch a glimpse of the Quinjet replica that was just installed? This thing is HUGE!
