Sneak Peek: Our First Look at a Reopened Theme Park! Step Inside Universal Studios Resort With Us!

It’s been a hot second since we stepped foot inside a theme park!

Disney World closed back in March and is slated to open next month. But today, we were granted a super sneak-peek into Universal Orlando’s theme parks (which don’t officially open to the public until June 5th)! Wands [and masks] at the ready? Let’s take a look!

We got to attend a special preview of Universal Studios Resort today before the theme parks officially reopen to Annual Passholders starting tomorrow!

And since this park isn’t officially open yet, we’re going to hold off on giving you all the details about the new health and safety precautions Universal Studios will be implementing. We only want to provide you with the most accurate information, so sit tight and we’ll get you everything you need to know about going to Universal’s theme parks tomorrow (we’ll be here all day reporting!).

But since we’re here a day early, we wanted to show you a few sights your heart has been pining to see! Even though we normally focus all our efforts on Disney stuff, we understand The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has A LOT of crossover appeal! Here’s a glimpse of how Hogsmeade looked as of this A.M. — looks like The Muggles are BACK!

We almost cried when we saw the Hogwarts Express steam engine this morning along with a friendly train conductor!

The Frog Choir was even out serenading us with its sweet chorus of croaks! Man, how we missed these guys!

It felt amazing to be wandering the cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade again, which was virtually empty!

So empty, it was only a five-minute wait to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. We’ll be curious to see that the wait time will be tomorrow.

Speaking of Hogwarts’ keeper of keys and ground, here’s the lovable Rubeus Hagrid himself! He looks like he’s happy to see folks out and about again!

At least he had all of his creatures to keep him company! And as of the morning, classes have resumed at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy.

We can’t wait to share a Butterbeer and a box of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans with you tomorrow, but for now, we’re going to keep Slytherin’ around to explore more of the almost-reopened Universal Studios Resort!
