We have been covering Universal Orlando’s phased re-opening of CityWalk — from parking to temperature checks, and doughnuts to sit-down meals.
But other than shopping and eating, what was there to do in the newly re-opened CityWalk?
We hope you’ve been practicing your putting while Disney World’s Golf facility has still been open, because the only attraction we found today at Universal was mini golf!
Universal’s Hollywood Drive In Golf usually operates with two courses: Haunted and Sci-Fi. But at today’s re-opening, only the Haunted course was available to guests.
To encourage social distancing, Universal requires guests to leave at least one hole between you and the next party.
Fore example (see what we did there?), if you just finished putting at hole one and there is a group at hole three, you must wait until they move on to hole four to proceed. That way, there is always at least one hole of space between you.
There were markers on the ground for parties to line up and register, but it was pretty empty when we stopped by.
If golfing isn’t your fore-te (we can’t stop), there are still a select number of shops and restaurants open in CityWalk. But if you choose to go, make sure you are familiar with Universal’s new safety protocols!
