Disney Springs is set to begin a phased reopening on May 20th and we’ve been working to compile a list of all the restaurants that will be opening with the first phase.

Morimoto Asia

Patina Restaurant Group is the organization behind many delicious Disney Springs restaurants including Morimoto Asia, Vivoli il Gelato, and Pizza Ponte. These locations are planning to reopen on May 22nd. Patina just released their hours and the new “Dine Safe” program that the locations will implement in response to the global health crisis. Check it out!

The four Patina Restaurant Group locations that will be opening on May 22nd are Vivoli il Gelato from 10AM to 10PM, Morimoto Asia from 4:30PM to 9PM, Morimoto Asia Street Food from 11:30AM to 9PM, and Pizza Ponte from 12PM to 8PM. Remember that these hours are subject to change! The spots will also be operating with limited menus.

Patina is instituting the Dine Safe: Commitment to Care program to engineer operating procedures to minimize risks and improve hygiene protocol to meet or exceed recommendations from the CDC. According to Director of Marketing Kyle Collins, “These heightened sanitation standards will help us manufacture a dining environment that keeps guests and our team members as safe as possible.”

The plan focuses on the experience in the dining room as well as team member measures. The dining room experience will be marked by measures such as the following: Required face coverings for guests except while eating or drinking, redesigned table layout to allow distancing, enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols, the addition of hand-sanitizing stations, controlled access through designated entrances and exits, and single-use menus.

As for new protocols for team members, Patina restaurant employees will undergo a health check when they get to work, sanitize their hands when they arrive and wash and sanitize their hands every 20 minutes of their shift, wear masks while on duty, and undergo a comprehensive training program.

Patina Group also noted that their remaining Disney Springs locations including Maria & Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway, and The Edison will also resume operations soon
