NEWS! New Date Revealed for Opening of 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Registration

Registration for the 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend was originally set to open on April 7th. However, the option to register for the event’s races was quietly removed from the runDisney website earlier this month.

Today, though, brings news for those planning to lace up for next January’s races, because — per the runDisney website — registration is now set to open on May 12, 2020!

10:00 AM EST on Tuesday, May 12th will be the time when hopeful participants may register for the Walt Disney World 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or full Marathon (OR sign up to take on Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge or the Dopey Challenge)!

Pre-sale registration will be available early — on May 7, 2020 — for the following: Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Golden Oak Club Members.

The 2021 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place January 6-10, 2021, and you can find out about each event, how to register, and more by visiting the runDisney website!
