Our time on Disney Cruises is all about chilling out, spending time with family and friends, and having some GREAT food!
Even when we’re on vacay, we’re scouting new snack hacks to share with all of you! While we’ve already showed you the Mickey Ear Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich and the Cheesy Chocolate Caramel Popcorn, we’re taking it back to the basics with this Disney Cruise Line treat!
Castaway Cay is a haven of stunning views, activities for all ages, and one of the best buffets EVER — Cookie’s Too BBQ!
Cookie’s Too is the sister location to Cookie’s on the opposite side of the island where guests can snack on burgers, hot dogs, spicy chicken sandwiches (!!!), and more. Although we looove getting our lunch on at Cookie’s Too, this time around we’re taking you with us to make a little slice of paradise with the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich hack!
Step 1: Grab Your Cookies
Since Cookie’s Two is a buffet, you can mix and match what’s on your plate. Buuut, for this snack hack’s sake, we picked up two chocolate chip cookies (and some extra if you’re just really digging that chocolatey goodness) for the base of your sammie!
Step 2: Ice Cream Time!
Then head over to the ice cream machines just outside the buffet to pick your filling! While you can get vanilla and chocolate ice cream separately, we recommend adding a lil twist to your Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich with a swirl of both flavors.
Step 3: Assemble
Now, it’s time to build your sandwich! After you’ve topped one of the cookies with ice cream, all you have to do is stack the other one on top…
… and TA-DA! You’ve got yourself an AH-MAZING treat that’s perfect to snack on in the sunshine! The ice cream melts into the soft cookies, so the creamy vanilla and chocolatey flavors combine together wonderfully. Yeah, we can’t help but have some major heart eyes for an Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich this good!!
Additional Step: RELAX!
Once you’ve made your Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich, you can pick a spot on Castaway Cay to kick back, relax, and SNACK! A beautiful view and a tasty treat sounds like the perfect day to us on the island!
We only wish we could have an Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich from Cookie’s Too every day…
