Review! NEW Strawberry Julep and Chocolate-Strawberry Beignets in Disneyland

We’re beignet fiends and we’re not afraid to admit it! We can’t get enough of these doughy boys at Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar.

We spilled the beans earlier this month about the Chocolate Mickey Beignets hiding behind the counter, but now Disney’s got even more fluffy pockets of sugar for us to try and something to wash it down with.

Remember the Chocolate-Strawberry Beignets and Strawberry Julep that were being served at the Mint Julep Bar for Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts Nite? Well, they’re also available during regular park hours! Rapunzel was wrong, THIS is the best day ever.

The beignets are the same great doughy snack you love, but now tossed in a chocolate and strawberry powder. The strawberry flavor doesn’t overpower the chocolate, allowing for a perfect mixture of flavors that just makes us want to eat these little guys even faster.

The Strawberry Julep was just the thing to wash those beignets down, as the strawberry flavor, again, was not very overpowering, just a light bit of flavor. The strawberry and the mint worked really well together to create a super refreshing drink to cool off in the afternoon.

We’re not sure how long they’re going to stick around for, so we better grab a few more of each before both are gone for good. You can get the beignets in either a pack of three for $5.49 or a pack of six for $8.99. The julep itself will run you $4.99.
