Review: You Have to See the NEW Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake in Disneyland Resort!

You know we here at Disney Food Blog love our cupcakes and Disney just keeps giving us new creations to enjoy.

Welcome to the Grand Californian!

We’ve got one for you today from Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel and y’all, this cupcake is CUTE!

You can find this new sweet treat down at the GCH Craftsman Grill for $7.00.

Inspired by Mickey’s turn as a sorcerer’s apprentice, this cupcake features a vanilla base, white vanilla frosting, and shimmery blue sugar pearls and stars in the frosting.

To round out the whole thing, a chocolate sorcerer’s hat and Mickey ears perch on top.

This cupcake is really cute and makes us jump right into “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” segment from Fantasia. The music is going to be stuck in our heads for hours!

He lost his hat!

While it is tasty and very nostalgic, it is kind of plain and doesn’t really have that “WOW” factor we’ve seen from other cupcakes around the resort. That might actually work to your advantage, though, if you have kids who are picky eaters or just like simple, reliable flavors.

We’re loving the newly updated GCH Craftsman Grill — there are always hidden gems here that we’re excited to share! Be sure to head over if you’re in Disneyland for the day. (FYI, breakfast is awesome, too!)
