REVIEW: The Spaghetti and Meatballs Cupcake in Animal Kingdom Is Weird…But SUPER GOOD. For Real.

In case you’ve been living under a rock (or a tree), there’s a mini Food Festival happening RIGHT NOW at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

We’re so excited the Animal Kingdom’s Tasting Sampler has returned for a third run this winter, and we can’t wait to share all of our brand new reviews with you of all the new items!

Here are the details you need! The Tasting Sampler costs $50.00 and includes two digital value cards! One of these is for $50 and can be used at over 40 outdoor food and beverage locations throughout the park. This one doesn’t expire!

On top of that, you get a bonus $10.00 that can be used at the following quick-service restaurants after 4:00 PM from December 22, 2019 through January 4, 2020: Restaurantosaurus, Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Satu’li Canteen.

There’s tons of stuff this year — old favorites and new items, too! It’s important to note, though, that you do not have to purchase the Animal Kingdom Tasting Sampler to get the special menu items. They are available everyday, to ALL guests!

We’ve seen lots of spaghetti and meatball cupcakes in Disney World before — not least of which the guest favorite Spaghetti and Meatballs cupcake over at Mama Melrose’s!

This MASTERPIECE is an Orange Cake with Cannoli Cream Filling (YUM!) that is topped with Buttercream Spaghetti and a Vanilla Cake Meatball with Fondant Sauce.

The Orange Flavor on this one really POPS… and speaking of pops, the Meatball tastes just like a delicious cake pop!

Now, I know what you’re asking: Um…guys…that looks a lot like a chocolate “meatball,” so why u sayin’ it’s vanilla? Well, believe it or not…it’s just HEAVILY food colored. PSA.

This one is absolutely delicious and super fun for the kiddos, but if food coloring ain’t yo jam…you’ve been warned!
