The 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays OFFICIALLY kicks off on November 29th!
While we’ve already shared this year’s booths and menus (yaaas!), as well as some new merch for the year, we had the opportunity to check out a few of the NEW booth items.
Grab those napkins and utensils! We hope you’re hungry ’cause there are some tasty treats being introduced at the festival this year!
Bavaria Holiday Kitchen
The Bavaria Holiday Kitchen is giving us a taste of something new (and delicious!) with the Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and spätzle.
We couldn’t get over how tender the pork was, paired with the flavorful mushroom sauce. We could have used a little bit of crunch since the spätzle noodles were soft as well. But, we still thought it was a lovely eat for this year and quite hearty!
On the drink menu, the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen is bringing back the Glühwein!
The house-made hot spiced wine has heavy notes of cinnamon in the mixture. So, if you really love spiced wine, you’ll want to grab this at Festival of the Holidays this year!

L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen
The L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen is back again this year, toasting us with its new menu items! This year, the booth will be featuring the kid-approved Potato Latkes with Sour Cream.
The potato with sour cream is a fantastic, hearty combo that had an AH-MAZING crunch with each bite.
Also on the menu, the Smoked Salmon Potato Latke is arriving at the booth for the holiday season.
Our mouths were honestly watering as we watched the chefs prepare plates for the guests to try!
For the grown-ups heading to the festival this year, you’ll want to try this. The smoked salmon is balanced wonderfully with the sour cream and potato latke!
The Shmaltz Brewing Company has fixed up the Chanukah Hanukkah Pass the Beer for the L’Chaim! booth.
If you like dark beers, this one is very satisfying (and would go great with the latkes)!

Yukon Holiday Kitchen
The Yukon Holiday Kitchen brings guests a taste of Canadian cuisine during Festival of the Holidays, and they’re back with a new tasty eat! This year, the booth will be serving the Canadian Wild Rice and Ham Soup with almonds served with a pretzel roll.
The pretzel roll is slightly salty on the outside, but beautifully soft on the inside. It’s a great side to dip in the soup as you snack!
The soup itself is delicious with a great mix of textures. The ham is soft, but complemented with the crunch of almonds!

Refreshment Port
The Refreshment Port is back again with all its eggnog goodness! While we saw the Eggnog Shake last year, we’re going back to the basics this year with the classic non-alcoholic Eggnog…
…and Eggnog spiked with spiced rum!
The eggnog was smooth and creamy, but had a nice amount of heat to it from the spiced rum!

Holiday Sweets & Treats
Holiday Sweets & Treats is also returning with some Christmas flavors! While guests can take a bite of the Peppermint Sundae again this year, now they’ll be able to sip on the non-alcoholic Chocolate Peppermint Shake infused with Twinings Peppermint Cheer Tea…
…and the alcoholic version spiked with whipped cream vodka (!!!).
The top of the Alcoholic Chocolate Peppermint Shake is covered in more whipped cream and crushed peppermint candy, tying the entire delightful treat together. The vodka is light, but adds a nice kick to the chocolate and mint.

Cookie Stroll
We love going on a Cookie Stroll around Festival of the Holidays, and we are SO EXCITED to do it again this year! Returning to L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen, the Black and White Cookie will be back again as the now plant-based option.
American Holiday Table will be the hosting the Gingerbread Cookie (look at that smile!)…
…while the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen will be sprinkling the snowflake-like Linzer Cookie!
This year, the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie will be swirled up at the Yukon Holiday Kitchen…
…and the NEW Chocolate Crinkle Cookie will be making its debut at Feast of the Three Kings (which looks a lot like the cookie we saw at the Contemporary’s Gingerbread Snack Stand).
Last, but not least, the adorable Santa Hat Mickey Cookie will be featured as the Completer Cookie for this year at Holiday Sweets and Treats! Just look at the lil festive sprinkles!
We can’t wait to try ALL these cookies this year as we stroll along, eggnog or spiced wine in hand!

After checking out all the eats and treats for this year’s Festival of the Holidays, we are SO ready to get our snack on!
