Walt Disney World has already unloaded on us an impressive amount of treats this 2019 holiday season!
Between all the specialty cocktails, cookies, and cupcakes galore, we’re adding two more to the mix.
We worked up quite the thirst while checking out the gingerbread display and holiday decor at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas, so we decided to hit BoardWalk Joe’s. Located along the turn-of-the-century style promenade, this drink and snacks kiosk features Specialty Margaritas, Mickey Pretzels, Draft Beers, and your standard bottled beverages.
They are bringing on the holiday SPIRITS with two new holiday beverages. We found the Jack Frost and the Oogie Worm.
The Jack Frost, priced at $15.00, features Corazón Blanco Tequila, Blue Curaçao, and Piña Colada mix.
This one was pretty strong and we could definitely feel the fiesta with the tequila shining through. But, the sweetness of the Piña Colada mix did a nice job of making the drink a little sweeter. So, if you’re a tequila lover, then this will probably be your jam!
The Oogie Worm, priced at $14.00, features Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Midori, Pineapple Juice, and a Gummy Worm.
As you can imagine from all of those ingredients, this was a VERY sweet, tropical tasting cocktail. With the sugary rim and the gummy worm, it made for some good photos as well. We can’t quite make the Oogie connection other than the worm, but it’s a fun drink for those who prefer their drinks on the more sweeter side. Don’t get us wrong though, we loved the mixture of the pineapple juice, vodka, and other flavors.
If you’re looking to drink & be merry this holiday season while visiting Disney’s BoardWalk, these are both solid options!
