On our recent trip through Fantasyland at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, we noticed something was out of place!
And the ominous clouds looming over the Beast’s Castle only added to our growing sense unease!
Alas! We discovered the source of our unrest when we stumbled upon the spot where we’ve always known Maurice’s Amazing Popcorn Machine to be! And it was strangely VACANT! Where had Maurice and his delicious popcorn run off to? Maybe he’d finally had enough of “this provincial life?“
But luckily Maurice’s Amazing Popcorn Machine hadn’t traveled far — it’s currently located across from Storybook Treats as you make your approach to Be Our Guest Resturant!
While we’re not sure if this is a permanent change, Maurice’s Amazing Popcorn Machine may have relocated to make more space for the Gaston meet and greet that’s recently been taking place under the awning of Bonjour! Village Gifts. He’s roughly the size of a barge, after all, so he probably appreciates the extra elbow room! And he’s even sportin’ a new costume these days!
Check out the details on Gaston’s new outfit here!
Check out the Maurice’s Amazing Popcorn Machine’s new location for yourself next time you’re strolling by Fantasyland — and don’t forget to stop by Gaston’s Tavern for one of our favorite Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party treats, Gaston’s Cheese Dippers! He uses antlers in all of his decorating, and as it turns out, a few of his recipes too — (see what we mean here!)
