Although we love hot chocolate and caramel treats for the holidays, those chocolate-covered oranges are some of our favorite treats for Christmas!
And, on top of the other desserts we’ve seen in Magic Kingdom today, we spotted a twist on this classic treat only available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (!!!). So, flap your wings ’cause we’re heading over to Adventureland, everybody!
The Orange Bird Christmas made our tastebuds sing at the Sunshine Tree Terrace!
Exclusively available to party guests, the dessert features a citrus almond cream cake, orange-scented white chocolate mousse, an orange curd filling, a candied “orange peel,” buttercream leaves, and a white chocolate Orange Bird piece (with an ADORABLE Santa hat!!).
First of all, before we even took a bite of the cake, the orange smell was AH-MAZING. We seriously need an Orange Bird Christmas candle or something now!! The treat is so citrus-y and light that we could have had 2 more of these.
The white chocolate mousse and almond cream cake have simple flavors that are boosted with the orange curd and candied orange peel. The final crunch of the dessert comes from the white chocolate piece, but we actually LOVE how soft and moist the dessert is. This actually might be in our top 5 Christmas treats of all time.
If you’re going to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, make sure to fly into Sunshine Tree Terrace to grab the Orange Bird Christmas!
