Pics and Review! The New Bugs ‘n’ Grub Cupcake is a Slimy, Yet Satisfying Treat at Animal Kingdom!

Like the Bugs ‘n’ Grub Ice Cream Cone, another bug-covered treat has crawled into Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

And today, we’re heading over to Restaurantosaurus at Animal Kingdom to check out a new creepy, crawly (yet sweet!) treat!

If you’re ready to rustle up some grub (or, in this case, a very sweet treat), the new Bugs ‘n’ Grub Cupcake is here to satisfy your craving! There’s a lot to unpack in this deliciously sweet pile of dirt, so let’s dig in.

The chocolate cupcake comes topped with cookie crumb “dirt” and green tea crumble “moss”, adorned with buttercream grass, as well as a gummy worm, and white chocolate ladybug. Inside the cupcake you’ll find a cookies and cream cheesecake filling. YES, PLEASE! 🙂

On first impression, we found this cupcake to be really yummy! If you’re a chocolate fan you just might LOVE this, as it’s very heavy on the chocolate flavor.

While the inside of the cupcake is creamy, we didn’t find there was a ton of actual cheesecake flavor to it. The cookie crumble “dirt”, on the other hand, was delicious. Our cupcake had minimal green tea crumble “moss”, so we didn’t have too much of that flavor coming through to compete with the cookie crumble!

The white chocolate ladybug was an adorable addition to the cupcake, and we are a SUCKER for anything gummy, so we, of course, loved having the gummy worm to finish up the treat!
