The most wonderful time of the year is finally HERE! We’re just a few days away from the start of the holiday celebrations at Disneyland Resort — the Disney Festival of Holidays at California Adventure Park!
Starting November 8th, 2019, the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure celebrates the season with special entertainment, music, and FOOD! Today, Disney announced some of the entertainment we can expect, and we were SO EXCITED to see the return of some favorites along with a few NEW offerings as well.
This year for Disney Festival of Holidays, there’s an all-new character celebration, “Mickey’s Happy Holidays.” This high-energy celebration invites you to dance along to merry holiday music with Mickey Mouse and pals! Starting November 8th, you can join them in singing and dancing your heart out as they perform twice daily at the Paradise Gardens Park and Carthay Circle!
Also NEW this year, “the Holiday Sunset Concerts on the Palisades Stage feature The Suffragettes.” We are so excited to sing along as this festival cover band sings some of our favorite holiday tunes!
The band will be performing on select nights, while other nights will feature acts such as Phat Cat Swing and the West Coast’s “Little-Big Band”! We can’t WAIT to see their fresh twist on some holiday classics.
To honor the many cultural holidays celebrated at Disney Festival of Holidays, there will also be some returning entertainment for this year’s festival, performing throughout the Paradise Gardens area of the park.
We’re thrilled to see returning favorites such as the acapella performance by The Sound to celebrate Christmas and Kwanzaa, Mariachi Divas bringing the joy of Navidad, Mostly Kosher bringing the spirit of Hanukkah in a concert, and Blue13 Dance Company presenting a spirited tribute to Diwali.
As if that weren’t enough, the Disney Festival of Holidays will include all that, plus the CLASSIC Holiday Toy Drummers, the joyous Disney ¡Viva Navidad! with The Three Caballeros, and even a visit from Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail!
Disney Festival of Holidays starts November 8 and continues through January 6, 2020 – you don’t want to miss this holiday celebration!
