It’s Halloween time, and all of our favorite villains are out to play!
However, we’re especially excited to catch a glimpse of Maleficent after watching the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil trailer and behind-the-scenes featurette. And, we’re ready to celebrate this wicked villainess with a returning treat in Disneyland!
The Maleficent Churro has made its dramatic entrance at the Churro Cart in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle! Although we’ve seen this previously during last year’s line-up of Halloween treats, we are more than happy to welcome this dessert once again.
The Maleficent Churro is dusted in chocolate cookie crumbles and green sugar, served with a marshmallow dipping sauce.
Okay, so we LOVE churros (still dreaming about that Chocolate Peanut Butter Churro from the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival)… But this churro? It’s almost like Maleficent cast a spell on us with how good it is!!
The churro itself has a great texture, mixed with the chocolatey taste of the cookie crumbles. Although, when you pair it with the marshmallow dipping sauce, the Maleficent Churro is scary delicious!! The churro melted in our mouths with every bite, combined with the sweet flavor of the marshmallow. We couldn’t get enough of it!
But, be warned! Maleficent is always up to no-good, and the cookie crumbles will smear if you try to wipe them off your clothes!
You can take a bite of the Maleficent Churro for $5.75 plus $1 extra for the marshmallow dip (which we highly recommend).
