Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is open

in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (!!!), and Disney World is celebrating with Star Wars-themed treats all over the World (see them all here). We’ve been up for a while checking out the Opening Day scene all over the Resort, so we’re bringing you what we consider a perfectly suitable breakfast for Galaxy’s Edge opening day: Red Velvet Star Wars Cake!

Except this cake… it’s from the Dark Side. Kylo Ren levels his stare (we assume — he’s chocolate), daring us to cut into this chocolate ganache-glazed cake that’s accented with silver and red splotches.

The base of the cake is a shortbread round, which is a nice contrast with the soft cake. But if you’re wondering where the cream cheese frosting is (because red velvet simply isn’t red velvet without it)…
