Marvel is celebrating 80 years of action this year on August 31st. In honor of the anniversary, Disney California Adventure is celebrating the superheroes all month long in heroic ways with merchandise, food, and entertainment!

can eat A LOT, but so can we when we’re in Disney! You can grab the fresh-baked sourdough Groot-shaped bread at Hollywood Lounge…

…and the superhero-inspired and cinnamon-sugar dusted Funnel Cake Fries with a maple glaze, chocolate cookie crumbles, and crumbled bacon at Award Wieners.

After all that food, you can get something to drink with the Fanta Orange Freeze with Blue Cream at Studio Catering Co. This is a repeat of a Summer of Heroes treat, so you can see our review of the Fanta Orange Freeze here!

And the Be Brave, Be Blue Cocktail with blue raspberry lemonade and vodka will be found at Hollywood Lounge. You can snack and sip on these limited time menu items from August 23rd through September 2nd.

Suit up, heroes! The Collector’s Warehouse will open August 9th with Marvel tees, headwear, and other merchandise for guests to wear.

Love Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! as much as we do?? You’ll be excited if you’re a Disneyland Annual Passholder. From August 25th to August 31st, passholders can ride the attraction for an extra hour after park closing AND take home one special lithograph per passholder! There’s no better way to jam out while you’re in California Adventure.

After meeting Rocket and the rest of the Guardians on Mission: Breakout, you can strike a pose with Mickey and friends, dressed as Marvel superheroes from August 9th to September 2nd! Or, you can visit the “Avengers Assemble!” photo location for an oversized, comic book-worthy backdrop!
