in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion is one of our favorite spots for yummy treats, such as the famous School Bread.
When we spotted the NEW Chocolate Cake with Banana Mousse, we knew we had to check it out!
The chocolate cake is topped with banana mousse, covered in chocolate ganache, drizzled with white chocolate, and sprinkled with crisp chocolate bits around the bottom.
While the dessert was tasty, there wasn’t anything outstanding about it. The banana flavor wasn’t too strong and was almost completely drowned out by the amount of chocolate. The bottom layer of chocolate cake was fluffy and light, which was easily the best part of the treat.
Although there are yummier desserts in Epcot, such as the delicious ice cream from L’Artisans de Glaces or the Frangipane from Les Halles, the Chocolate Cake with Banana Mousse is still a decent dessert if you’re looking for a banana flavor in Epcot. You can get it for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
