Welcome to our roundup of What’s New at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and Disney’s All-Star Resorts!
We have a lot of exciting updates to cover, so let’s dive right in!
What’s New at Coronado Springs Resort
We started our day at Coronado Springs Resort, where we noticed its snazzy new entrance sign, sporting a cheerful turquoise color!
In Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries, we found a lot of new merchandise featuring the updated Coronado Springs color schemes and designs incorporating the Gran Destino Tower.
We personally love the coasters and coffee mugs!
Next, we headed over to El Mercado de Coronado and noticed a slight menu change. The food court previously served personal sized pizza, but it is now served by the slice for $8.99.
What’s New at Coronado Springs’ Laguna Bar
Our next stop was Coronado Springs’ Laguna Bar!
The previously bright red menu has been replaced by a simple white menu, and it features plenty of tequila and Mezcal beverages!
You’ll find seven different margaritas on the rocks and three frozen options (mango, lime, and wild strawberry), which you can order combined as a Fiesta Margarita if you’d like. Given the bar’s newfound emphasis on tequila, you can try a flight of Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo tequilas for $20.
If tequila is not your favorite, either try the rum-based Cancun Colada ($11.50) or head to the Siestas Pool Bar at the Dig Site Pool for a menu featuring drinks made with a wide variety of spirits.
What’s New with the Gran Destino Tower
Construction continues (and is almost complete!) on the Gran Destino Tower which will open on July 9, 2019. The outside walkway along Lago Dorado from the lobby to the right side of the resort is now closed off.
We saw multiple Cast Members using golf carts to take guests around the resort.
According to the Cast Member we spoke with, the Gran Destino Tower and main lobby area are primarily themed after Spain, but there will still be touches of Mexican and Western American theming as well. She also mentioned that from certain vantage points at the rooftop Dahlia Lounge, guests may able to see Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
What’s New at the All-Star Resorts
Let’s continue our walk at the All-Star Resorts!
The new All-Star Resorts logo merchandise is available in all three resorts and was mixed in with the older designs when we were there. While the merchandise isn’t brand new, they are phasing out the older style and have more items with the new logo design.
What’s New at All-Star Movies
At All-Star Movies Resort, we saw a Toy Story 4 photo backdrop in the main lobby, complete with a red carpet and photo frame for guests to snap a picture!
We spotted information and dates for the All-Star & Icons Fun Run and a close-up of the pin participants will receive after the run.
At Donald’s Double Feature, we spotted Jumbo Minnie Bow Headbands ($27.99 — and they are SERIOUSLY HUGE), Disney Snacks Backpacks ($29.99), Toy Story 4 The Claw Toys, ($49.99), and a Toy Story 4 *Walking* Buzz Lightyear Toy ($34.99).
At World Premiere Food Court, we tried the new Brownie Fudge Cookies & Cream Sundae!

What’s New at All-Star Music Resort
Continuing our walk at All-Star Music Resort, we found some new The Lion King pins for $9.99 each at Maestro Mickey’s.
We also spotted the super cute Mini Snack Buttons near the register.
At Intermission Food Court, we noticed the return of the adorable Tinkerbell Cupcake!
The new Prettiest Pink Strawberry Tart was featured in the bakery case as well (you can also find it at All-Star Movies).
At the Calypso Pool, they were setting up for Mickey Tie Dye while we were there.
While we were outside, we noticed a promotion for the Broadway Hotel Food Truck Nights. You’ll find the truck on Monday and Thursday nights next to the Piano Pool from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The Disney Dining Plan is NOT eligible.
Before we left All-Star Music, we spotted a hidden Mickey in the lobby’s complimentary water dispenser!
Can you see it 🙂 ?
What’s New at All-Star Sports
We didn’t find too many new items at All-Star Sports Resort, but we did see a few digital activities and announcements screens!
We also spotted the new Mickey Bubble Baton in Goofy’s Gifts and Sundries!
