Mandara Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Will Close Permanently

Within the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa lies the Mandara Spa, which offers spa services like massages, facials, wraps, and breathing releases to guests of the resort.

When we called yesterday to make a reservation, the spa informed us that they would be closing their doors permanently on July 10th so Disney can create an all-new experience in the space. We confirmed the closure by speaking to an employee at the spa in person.

Disney has not made this announcement public, nor have they shared details on what experience will take over this location.

The Mandara Spa is operated by the Mandara Spa chain and not the Walt Disney Company. There is another Mandara Spa location at Walt Disney World in the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, and there is no word at press time of this location closing.
