And when Disney Springs announced the arrival of this “shining, shimmering, splendid” cake, we knew we had to try it.

Just look at this beauty! From the shining golden Magic Lamp to the Magic Carpet placed on top to the hue of Jasmine’s outfit with the icing, this one really nails the theme.

Of course, the cake underneath the icing is certainly important, too. Almond Chiffon Cake is layered with Amoretto Simple Syrup, Fig Pate de Fruit, 5 Spice mousse, Almond Pecan Granola, and Golden Raisin Jam.

The flavors are certainly unique compared to your typical sweet cake. But that’s not to say there isn’t sweetness involved; in fact, the icing is very sweet, but it’s nicely balanced by the 5 spice mousse.

The granola adds an unexpected crunch while the almond cake itself is both moist and flavorful.
